Using traditional saddlery skills our saddler handcuts English leather from a full hide and handstitches together to make this beautiful Donard Hound Collar.
Being handmade, this makes each of our products unique.

S 8.5” - 12” (22-30cm)
M 13” - 17" (33 - 43cm)
L 17” - 21” (43 - 53cm)
Measure your dogs neck snugly and add 1” (25mm) this length will be the centre hole of the collar to allow for adjustment OR take the measurement from the buckle end of a collar that fits your dog to the hole in use.
Care for your collar
All leather products are dipped in bees wax, for extra protection against natural elements. This does not make it waterproof.
Tweed or Leather collars & Leads should not be worn while swimming, this will shorten the life of the leather & may lead to some discolouring & marks. However, if they do get wet lay collar or lead horizontally flat and let it dry naturally (avoid artificial heat sources). When dry, rub leather balm onto both sides of leather and buff off with a soft cloth.
We also advise not to leave leather out in rain or sun.
As leather is a natural material we can’t guarantee the dye won’t bleed! Quoting our long time customers they recommend ‘using a conditioning oil, this lessens the likelihood of bleeding!’
